The OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer 45.50 mm is a bold and innovative timepiece designed with global travellers in mind. Its large 45.50 mm case and bezel are crafted from brushed black ceramic, featuring a laser-ablated diving scale that is polished in positive relief which is subtle yet striking in its execution.
At the heart of the dial lies a topographic view of Earth as seen from above the North Pole, created on a grade 5 titanium surface. This intricate image is achieved through precision laser-ablation and finished with turquoise varnish, lending it both depth and vibrancy. Surrounding this central depiction is a 24-hour indicator made from transparent hesalite, segmented into light and dark halves to represent day and night across time zones.
The outer section of the dial is finished in DLC black and features a laser-ablated honeycomb texture that is then polished for contrast. Diamond-brushed hour markers are filled with white Super-LumiNova, ensuring legibility in low light. The dial's outer ring, detailed in turquoise varnish, features the names of various global cities, including OMEGA's hometown of Bienne, encircling the world map and time scale. The hands, coated in grey PVD and filled with white Super-LumiNova, complement the watch's futuristic aesthetic.
This Worldtimer is fitted with an integrated black structured rubber strap, stitched in turquoise to echo the dial accents. It fastens with a fold over clasp made from ceramic and ceramised titanium, maintaining the watch's modern, high-performance character.
Inside, the timepiece is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8938.
