Every quartz watch will require a battery replacement during its lifetime. The lifespan of a battery depends on the watch’s age, movement and additional functions, with chronograph and multifunction watches often needing more frequent changes.
If left too long, a depleted battery can leak and potentially damage the movement – leading to costly repairs. Prompt replacement ensures accurate timekeeping and protects the long-term performance of your watch.

If you need a quick solution for a daily-wear watch that isn’t exposed to water, we can fit a new battery in-store.
Battery replacements start from £25.
To guarantee your watch to be water-resistant, we recommend a full battery replacement and reseal service. Your watch is carefully handled, resealed and pressure tested to ensure it remains water-resistant to the manufacturer’s specification.
This service is completed by our trusted workshop partner and typically takes 2–3 weeks, depending on workload. Alternatively, we can return the watch to the brand’s service centre, time scales vary upon the model.
Once we assess your watch, we’ll confirm the exact cost and timeframe before proceeding.
