In celebration of its 250th anniversary, Breguet reimagines a revolutionary concept with the Classique Souscription 2025 — an extraordinary timepiece that pays homage to the visionary spirit of Abraham-Louis Breguet, the greatest watchmaker in history.

Housed in a 40mm case crafted from proprietary 18K Breguet gold — a unique alloy inspired by 18th-century metallurgy — the watch marries tradition with innovation. The satin-brushed finish replaces Breguet’s signature fluting for a more contemporary aesthetic, while curved lugs and a chevé-profile sapphire crystal offer refined ergonomics and a nod to historical elegance.

The dial is a study in purity and craftsmanship: a pristine white grand feu enamel surface with delicate black petit feu Breguet numerals, a classic railroad minute track, and a single, flame-blued pomme-style hand, mirror-polished by hand and true to vintage form. With no complication to distract from the artistry, the display is both minimalist and remarkably legible.

Inside, the manually wound Calibre VS00 movement continues the narrative of heritage and excellence. Measuring just 5.7mm thick, it offers a robust 96-hour power reserve and features a stunning gilded brass finish to match the warmth of the case. A diamond-point pantograph engraves each movement with the “Souscription” inscription, serial number, and a discreet secret signature. The sapphire crystal caseback is adorned with a handmade "Quai de l’Horloge" guilloché motif and etched with “BREGUET 250 YEARS” — a lasting tribute to the maison’s enduring legacy.

Completing the piece is a luxurious navy blue alligator leather strap, lined in matching small-scale alligator leather and secured with a solid 18K Breguet gold pin buckle.
